The uniform lock and system of remote control by door activators – general information and check of serviceability of functioning

General information

In a basis of functioning of system operation of individual activators of locks of each of car doors is necessary. The system consists of switches of management, door activators and connecting electroconducting. Problem diagnostics of system is limited to checks of a condition of contact connections of an electric chain and serviceability of operation of door activators. It is necessary to charge performance of deeper checks to specialists of car-care center. The control unit of system of the uniform lock is located under the dashboard, to the right of the assembly block of safety locks/relay.

Functioning of the uniform lock occurs at the expense of operation of the two-forked electromagnets located in the doorway of the car. The switch of management has two situation: Are LOCK and OPENLY. On the models of the last years of release equipped with system of remote control, switches give out a signal on the module of management which, in turn, influences electromagnetic switches, or driving electromotors of door locks. Depending on a starting position of the switch there is a change of polarity of a food of activators. On models of earlier years of release switches are connected directly to electromagnets of door locks.

On some models the system of the uniform lock is incorporated with system of the anticreeping alarm system.

If to find the reason for refusal during described below checks it is not possible, the car should be driven away on car repair shop.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. First of all always check a condition of protection of a contour. On some models protection is provided with a combination of safety locks and chain breakers.
2. Popereklyuchayte management switches in both directions at the muffled engine. Listen to the clicks accompanying operation of electromagnets of door activators.
3. In the absence of clicks check serviceability of giving of tension on switches. If giving of a food is broken, check an electroconducting condition on a chain site between the corresponding switch and the assembly block of safety locks. If a food moves regularly, check serviceability of a condition of the switch (conductivity distribution).
4. Replace switches conductivity in which is absent in both provisions. If the switch is serviceable, however clicks of the relay is not audible, check an electroconducting condition between the corresponding switch and an electromagnet. Make necessary regenerative repair.
5. Check a condition of grounding of switches and the control unit.
6. At refusal only one of activators remove the panel of an internal upholstery from the corresponding door of the car (see. Chapter the Body) also check serviceability of giving of tension on an executive electromagnet, switching the management switch. One of wires should запитываться in one of positions of the switch, the second – in other.
7. If a food moves regularly, replace an electromagnet.
8. If violation of giving of a food takes place, check on break and short circuit electroconducting on a chain site between an electromagnet and the relay, and also a condition actually the relay.

More often the wire breakage occurs on a site between a door and the body panel.
