Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases

General information

The power supply system consists of the fuel tank placed in it of the electric fuel pump, the main EFI relay, injectors, a regulator of pressure of fuel, assembly of an air purifier and the throttle case. All models are equipped with electronic system of injection of fuel. All systems of food/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases, working under control of system of onboard self-diagnostics of the second generation (OBD-II), are equipped with the sensor of measurement of weight of the air (MAF), replaced a measuring instrument of an air stream of lopastny type applied earlier (see. Head of the Control system of the engine and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).

System of electronic injection of fuel (EFI)

In considered system for management of fuel injection through injectors directly to the inlet port of each of chambers of combustion of the engine electric impulses of accurately limited duration are used. The moment and duration of time of opening of each of injectors supervises the electronic module of management (ESM) of system. ESM continuously traces various working parameters of the engine and on the basis of the analysis of arriving information defines the demanded volume injected in each of inlet ports of fuel. Parallel to ESM exercises also administration of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition. The case of a throttle serves only for management of giving in an air power supply system. In view of that each of cylinders is equipped own, located in close proximity to the inlet valve, an injector, this scheme provides possibility of very exact management with structure of an air and fuel mix.

The regulator of pressure of fuel supports continuous difference of pressure between entrance and target section of each of injectors. The nominal rate of working pressure makes 2.9 kgfs/cm 2. The regulator is equipped with the locking valve, a sensitive element of membrane type and the loaded spring. Management of pressure difference is carried out by a fuel drosselirovaniye in a gap between the locking valve and its saddle. Excess of fuel on the returnable line is taken away back in a fuel tank.

The damper of pulsations of pressure of fuel serves for elimination of the wave formation arising in gasoline pipe lines during the moments of opening and closing of injectors. The damper is equipped with the air and fuel chambers divided by a membrane which actually and makes clearing of elastic fluctuations in a fuel stream.

The amount of air submitted to the engine is defined by the provision of a butterfly valve and frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft. The sensor of measurement of a stream of air established in an inlet path delivers to the management module information, on the basis of which ESM defines demanded duration of opening of injectors.

Fuel pump and gasoline pipe lines

Supply of fuel from a fuel tank in system of injection and return of its surplus back in a fuel tank is carried out on two metal lines laid under the bottom of the car. The electric fuel pump of rotor type is located by Pogruzhna in a fuel tank and united in uniform assembly with the block of the sensor of fuel consumption. On an exit of a gasoline pump the fuel filter providing a filtration of particles in the size to 20-30 microns is provided.
The system of return of fuel evaporations carries out branch паров fuel back in a fuel tank on the separate returnable line.

The fuel pump continues to function during all operating time of the engine, i.e. while ESM receives basic impulses from electronic system of ignition (see. Head engine Electric equipment). 2-3 seconds later after interruption of supply of basic impulses the pump stops.

System of production of the fulfilled gases

The system of production of the fulfilled gases consists of the reception pipes equipped with the oxygen sensor, catalytic converters, and the exhaust silencer.

The catalytic converter is the main component of system of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases. The monoblock converter can be applied in a combination with three-functional reduktsionny (Control systems for more details see in Head of the engine and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
