Removal and installation of a latch of the lock of a cowl and cable of its drive

Models of cars considered in the real Management are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving traumas at its casual operation (see. Onboard electric equipment). Electroconducting of a chain of SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow color of isolation.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a decorative front grille (see. Section Removal and installation of a decorative front grille).

2. Lead round latch assembly by a marker or a chertilka for the purpose of a guarantee of correctness of its installation at assembly. Turn out fixing bolts (address to an illustration) and remove a latch from a basic beam of a radiator.

3. Having wrung out a latch, disconnect from it a driving cable.
4. Installation is made upside-down. For adjustment of the lock release fixing bolts and as appropriate correct the provision of a latch. Track reliability of a tightening of fixture.
5. For replacement of a driving cable "walk" on it from a latch to a partition of an impellent compartment, liberating from all provided intermediate clamps and directing arms.

6. Pass to salon and remove the left section of the bottom furnish of the dashboard (see. Section Removal and installation finishing and main dashboard sections). Separate the lever of an otpuskaniye of the lock of a cowl from the dashboard (address to an accompanying illustration).

7. Separate from the lever a tip of a driving cable.
8. Tie up by the cable end a piece of a string and involve assembly in an impellent compartment.
9. Untie a cable from the left string passed through a partition.
10. Installation is made upside-down.
