Removal and installation of the pallet of a case of the engine

Details of installation of the pallet of a case and oil pump

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Elements of installation of the pallet of a case of the engine and the oil pump are shown on an illustration above.
2. Remove details of a drive of GRM (see. Section Removal and installation of cogwheels of a drive of GRM).
3. Merge cooling liquid.
4. Merge impellent oil and remove the oil filter.
5. Give fixture of the pallet of a case then separate it from the engine block, in case of need having accurately hooked it a small screw-driver or a shpatel, try not to damage interfaced surfaces.
6. If necessary remove a maslozabornik with laying.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Accurately scratch out from interfaced surfaces of the pallet and the block all traces of hermetic and a material of old laying. Carefully wipe interfaced surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. Clean a carving of deaf boltovy openings in aluminum molding of the block.
2. Check a condition of the mesh filter of a maslozabornik, wash out solvent a maslozaborny tube, replace sealing laying, establish assembly of a maslozabornik on the engine and with demanded effort tighten fixing bolts.
3. If removed, establish into place a maslozabornik with new laying, tightening bolts of his fastening with demanded effort.
4. Impose on the specified surfaces the hermetic roller in thickness of 2-3 mm (address to an accompanying illustration).
5. Accurately press the pallet to the block of the engine and screw fixing bolts. Moving from the center outside, in three-four receptions tighten fixture with demanded efforts.
6. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Tighten fixture with demanded effort. Do not forget to replace the filter and to add oil.
7. Start the engine and check the pallet on existence of signs of development of leaks. Check also pressure of oil.
