Components of installation of the ECT sensor
On the petrol V8 models the sensor is under a cover of the case of a throttle (address to an illustration above) in the top part of the inlet pipeline. The sensor rearranges from itself a termistor which resistance changes in inverse proportion to temperature of cooling liquid. The description of procedure of check of the sensor is provided in the Section Information sensors - the general information and check of serviceability of functioning.

1. For removal of the sensor merge cooling liquid and uncover throttle cases. Remove a flange of an inlet air line from the throttle case. Remove the throttle case for what disconnect from it a cable of an accelerator and give two bolts and two nuts of fastening.

Old laying can be thrown out – for installation it is required new. |
2. Disunite the contact socket of the ECT sensor, then carefully turn out assembly from the landing nest.

Try to address with the eats sensor extremely carefully, – its damage is capable to affect serviceability of functioning of all power supply system. |

Old the sealing ring of the sensor can be thrown out – for installation it is required new. |
3. Installation of the new sensor should be made as soon as possible for the purpose of minimization of losses of cooling liquid. Tighten the sensor and fixture of the case of a throttle with demanded effort. In summary fill in cooling liquid, start the engine and be convinced of lack of leakages. |

Sensors of an air stream
MAF sensor
The MAF sensor is placed in an air inlet sleeve. The sensitive element of the sensor is an incandescence thread. The sensor serves for determination of weight soaked up in the engine in unit of time air. 1. Disconnect from the MAF sensor electroconducting and separate air purifier assembly from an air inlet sleeve (see. Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).

2. Give fixing screws and remove MAF sensor assembly from an air purifier (address to an accompanying illustration). |
3. Installation is made upside-down. |

IAT sensor
The IAT sensor is built in the case of the MAF sensor and not separately to replacement is not subject.
Lambda probes
|
Owing to temperature compression of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases at its cooling extraction the lambda probe can appear is interfaced to certain difficulties. In order to avoid risk of damage of the sensor at its reversing, previously warm up the engine within one-two minutes. Be careful, do not burn.

On the V8 models it is established the 4th lambda probe, – two verkhnepotochny, established ahead (on a stream) catalytic converters and two nizhnepotochny, screwed in section of system are lower (on a stream) than catalytic converters. Sensors trace level of the content of oxygen in the fulfilled gases of the engine. At service a lambda probes it is necessary to observe special precautionary measures:
- Lambda probe it is equipped tightly built in in it, the equipped contact tip, an electroconducting piece, performance of which attempts of a detachment can lead to an irreversible exit of a probe out of operation;
- Try not to allow hits in a jalousie of a probe or in its electric socket of dirt and greasing;
- Do not use for cleaning a lambda probe any solvents;
- Address with a lambda probe extremely carefully, do not drop it and try not to shake;
- The silicone protective cover should put on on the sensor strictly definitely not to be melted and not to break serviceability of functioning of a probe.

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action! |
2. To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props. 3. Remove the thermofilters blocking access to subject service to the oxygen sensor. Disconnect from the sensor electroconducting. 4. Accurately turn out fastening bolts a lambda probe to an element of system of release (to a final collector or an exhaust pipe). 5. At probe installation it is necessary to grease its carving part with anti-taking hermetic.

The carving of the new sensor is usually already processed by the relevant structure. |
6. Establish a probe on the regular place and strongly tighten it. 7. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. 8. Lower the car and make its trial runs. Make sure of absence in memory of OBD codes of malfunctions. |

Sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS)
Location and TPS fastening
The representing potentiometer of variable resistance of TPS fastens on the case of a throttle and is connected directly to a butterfly valve axis (address to an illustration above). 1. Disconnect from the sensor electroconducting.

Probably, for the purpose of ensuring access to the contact socket of the sensor, it is necessary to remove an inlet air line. |
2. Turn out fixing screws and remove TPS from the throttle case. 3. At installation of the sensor track hit of directing uvulas in reciprocal grooves on a butterfly valve axis. Check the TPS sensor. 4. Installation is made upside-down. |

Sensor of provision of a cranked shaft (SKR)
Components of installation and CKP sensor check

1. Location of the CKP sensor is specified illustrations above. For the purpose of ensuring access to a fixing bolt remove protection of a case. Disconnect from the sensor electroconducting and give a bolt of its fastening to the oil pump. 2. Installation is made upside-down. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the sensor with demanded effort. |

Sensor of provision of a camshaft (SKR)

1. The sensor is established in the left head of cylinders (address to an illustration above). For the purpose of ensuring access to a fixing bolt merge cooling liquid and remove belts of a drive of auxiliary units. Disconnect from the sensor electroconducting and give a bolt of its fastening and a hairpin. 2. Installation is made upside-down. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the sensor with demanded effort. |

Detonation sensors

Before starting performance of procedure wait final cooling of the engine. |
|
On engines 2UZ-FE on each head of cylinders it is established on one sensor of a detonation. |

Location of the sensor of a detonation is presented on an accompanying illustration. |

1. For removal of the sensor of a detonation merge cooling liquid and remove an inlet air line. 2. Uncover a belt of a drive GRM covering cogwheels of camshafts. 3. Remove the top part of the inlet pipeline and a regulator of pressure of fuel. 4. Remove the inlet pipeline. 5. Remove a water perepuskny tube and disconnect conducting of sensors. Remove sensors. 6. Installation is made upside-down. Having screwed sensors, tighten with demanded effort. Fill in cooling liquid. |
